When one of four couples & long time friends, die in a sailing accident the lives of the other three couples are turned upside down. The friendships are tested as secrets are revealed and the roles each of the friends cast themselves in are examined. Long simmering conflicts surface as each search to figure out how such a tragedy could happened. Great characters, they felt like friends by the end of the book. Can't wait to read her new book just out!

I am 8 years old and my Dad and I drive 15 hours from Michigan to visit our family. My Grandma got us the books on CD of the Chronicles Of Narnia to listen to on the drive. The Horse and His Boy is my favorite one. The boy Shasta runs away when he is going to be sold and meets the horse named Bree from Narnia. They have a bunch of exciting adventures to gether and meet a lot of interesting people and creatures on their way to Narnia. I can listen to the Narnia books over and over and not get tired of them. If you are going on a long car trip you would like these CD books.
